1.1 Purpose: This specification covers the engineering requirements for electroless deposition of nickel- boron on various materials and the properties of the deposit. 1.2 Application: Primarily to provide mar-resistant and corrosion-resistant surfaces with good solder- ability using a mildly activated rosin flux. For other applications where solderability and low con- tact resistance are not required, AMS 2404 should be considered.strRefField
